Cohen Peterfriend Trial Attorneys participated in the Families in Business Conference on May 18 - 19 at the Diplomat Country Club in Hallandale, Florida. The Conference, "A private meeting for families from throughout the U.S. and Latin America to learn key strategies and best practices shared by successful family businesses," was focused on maintaining family solidarity throughout difficult times. Cohen and Peterfriend presented a workshop entitled "Next Generation Businesses." The two attorneys discussed their own experiences in a case-study workshop. As sons from business-owning families, Cohen and Peterfriend discussed the role that family governance played in how they conduct themselves in the business world.
